Forza Expands Renewable Energy Strategy with 990 kW Solar Project
Laredo, Texas — [January 5, 2026] — Forza Transportation Services is advancing its sustainability strategy through the implementation of a 990 kW solar energy project designed to increase renewable energy generation, reduce reliance on conventional grid electricity, and strengthen the energy resilience of its operations.
The project incorporates solar panels across parking areas and workshop facilities, allowing Forza to generate renewable electricity directly at its operational sites. The initiative also includes planned battery storage capabilities, supporting greater energy availability and operational resilience while reducing dependence on external electricity supply.
Forza’s transportation operations require significant energy to support yards, workshops, parking areas, and other facility activities. By generating electricity on-site from renewable sources, the company is working to reduce the amount of conventional grid electricity required to support these operations while advancing its long-term environmental objectives.
The 990 kW installation represents an important step in Forza’s transition toward a more diversified and resilient energy model. In addition to supporting renewable energy generation, the project is designed to help reduce exposure to fluctuations in electricity costs and strengthen the company’s ability to maintain reliable facility operations.
