Forza Advances Fleet Efficiency and Sustainability with HALO Tire Management Technology
Laredo, Texas — [March 5, 2025] — Forza Transportation Services is strengthening its commitment to safer, more efficient, and sustainable transportation through the implementation of the HALO Connect i3 Tire Management System, an advanced technology designed to automate tire inflation and continuously monitor tire health across its fleet.
Tire performance is a critical factor in commercial transportation, directly influencing fuel efficiency, tire life, vehicle uptime, and road safety. Before implementing HALO, tire pressure and condition were primarily managed through manual inspections and reactive maintenance. Managing proper inflation consistently across a large fleet presented operational challenges and made it more difficult to identify tire issues quickly.
The HALO Connect i3 system automates tire inflation and continuously monitors tire conditions, maintaining tire pressure within ±3 PSI of the set point while proactively identifying issues requiring attention. This allows maintenance teams to respond more efficiently and reduces the operational burden associated with manually identifying and addressing tire-related problems.
During the product testing and deployment phase, Forza documented measurable improvements, including an 11.2% increase in tire life, a 1% improvement in fuel efficiency, and approximately 1.9 metric tons of CO₂ emissions reduction per year. Proper tire inflation was achieved at the beginning of 99.6% of trips, while tire alerts were reduced by approximately 50%.
The system also monitored 4,330 tires, with an average of three tire issues identified per day and an average resolution time of approximately five hours. These results demonstrate how digital tire management can support both operational performance and environmental objectives by reducing fuel consumption, extending tire life, and minimizing tire-related maintenance and downtime.
